HAPPY BABY J DAY!!!

My baby baby is ONE YEAR old today! I understand, now, wanting to keep the youngest a baby. I almost start to cry thinking that very soon there will be no bottles in our house. I am doing my best to enjoy every moment...and am secretly delighted that Jacqueline doesn't have any teeth yet. And is barely crawling. And is only saying 1 word, even if it is Dada. I know it will all come so fast, I've seen it. Then there's no turning back. So you just babble and crawl and enjoy your bottles baby girl. (psst...we all know who you *really* mean when you say Dada...)

So today we took it kinda easy. I made a cake for her - one of my better ones. Dare I say I am getting better? Cameron declared she needed a heart cake, so I did my best. I think everyone approved!!!

Jacqueline will be having a very quaint birthday party on Saturday at a local cupcake shop. We can't wait! Thanks to Lori and Tommie, it is going to be GORGE!

Pink frosting is so HAPPY just to look at! I swear it is an instant mood-picker-upper! This is the moment before she knew anything about frosting. Or pure sugar in any form. Ah, ignorance...

So here is the heart cake that Cameron requested for her. I didn't have a heart-shaped pan, so I just cut it by hand. It is way not perfect, but it looks like my work!!! ;)

Mommy's friend Jen brought Jacqueline a present today! Such a cute little dress! Such an amazing friend!!!!

She's a pro now at the whole cake thing. Yep.
Looking forward to many more happy birthdays my baby girl.

First Day of Pre-School

Cameron has started school! He is going to Children of the Woodlands at The Methodist church here in our town, very close to where we live and just down the street from Warren's office. I'm not sure if Cameron is more excited to be in the Sea Turtle class, or to be going to work with Daddy in the Mazda!

No first day jitters for this little man!
He's telling ME where to go!
